A remarkable piece of Scandinavian maritime heritage is now on display at Holbæk Museum. The 900-year-old Gislinge Boat, a well-preserved example of clinker-built ship construction from the early medieval period, has been loaned by the National Museum of Denmark for public exhibition. This marks the first time the vessel has been displayed in the region where it was originally discovered, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience a tangible link to Denmark’s seafaring past.
