The carvings of the stone are in the runestone style Pr 1 (c. 1010-1040) pertaining to the Ringerike style.

Some of the details have eroded entirely, and much of the linework is now only vaguely traceable. Missing details have been reconstructed here based on the general characteristics of the Ringerike style. Most notably among the missing elements are the snout-tip of the beast, and the front feet, as well as the details of the tendril interlacing of the two stems shooting out diagonally on each side of the top lobe of the rosetta cross.

The inscription is not signed.

The granite stone is c. 2,15 m tall, 1,25 m wide and 8-13 cm thick.
