The runestone carries a simple memorial inscription, but its most striking feature is the carved Mjölnir placed prominently on the stone. The hammer is rendered in a clear, schematic form that matches other late Viking-Age depictions of Thor’s hammer used as a protective symbol.

Translation

Dagr raised this stone in memory of Bjôrn, (his) kinsman, a very good Þegn.
