The carvings of the stone are in the runestone style B-e-v (c. 1010-1050) pertaining to the Ringerike style and contemporary with Pr 1 and Pr 2.

The inscription is not signed.

The granite stone is c. 1,60 m tall, 1 m wide across the base and 0,80 m wide at the top of the decoration.

The first part of the rune text begins at the head end of the serpent. The second part runs parallel to the first part on the outside and in the same direction.

Gnúpa had this stone raised in memory of Gulleifr, his brother. He met his end in the east at the Assembly.
